This Privacy Policy explains how Golf Scorecard App (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application.

1. What we collect

• Information you provide:
• Course names, player names, optional handicap indexes you enter into the app.
• Automatically collected (app functionality):
• Basic device information (model, OS version) required by the operating system for the app to run reliably.
• Local app data such as rounds and scores stored on your device (via local storage/Core Data). We do not receive this data on our servers.
• Purchases and subscriptions:
• We use Apple In‑App Purchases and RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. These services process purchase receipts and may receive a pseudonymous identifier, purchase history, country/region, and subscription status to validate entitlements. We do not receive your full payment information.

2. How we use information

• Provide core features (create and manage rounds, scoring, handicap & net calculations).
• Remember preferences (e.g., tees, holes).
• Validate and manage Pro subscriptions and entitlements.
• Maintain app safety and reliability, fix bugs, and improve performance.

3. Where data is stored

• Most app content (rounds, scores, preferences) is stored locally on your device.
• Subscription/entitlement data is processed by Apple and RevenueCat.
