This Privacy Policy describes how Lovely Spicy ("Lovely Spicy", "we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Lovely Spicy — Couples Q&A iOS app and the website at trylovely.app (collectively, the "Service"). Lovely Spicy is a couples Q&A app: each day we deliver a question, you and your partner answer separately, and the answers are revealed once both of you have replied. This policy explains what data is needed to make that possible, and what we do with it.
- INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you provide
- Account basics: a display name (or first name) you choose. Email is optional and only used if you opt in for account recovery.
- Partner pairing: a short pairing code or invite link so you can connect with your partner inside the app. We store the link between two paired accounts so we know whose answers to show to whom.
- Your answers: what you write in response to daily questions, plus optional reactions, notes and shared prompts. Your partner sees your answer once both of you have responded.
- Communications: any message you send us via email or the in-app feedback form.
Information collected automatically
- Device type, operating system version, app version and language.
- Anonymous usage metrics (which features you open, how long sessions are, performance signals).
- Crash logs and diagnostic reports.
- Approximate location (country / region level only, derived from IP).
We do not read your contacts, photo library, microphone or precise location.
- HOW WE USE INFORMATION
- Deliver the core Q&A experience — show today's question, store your answer, reveal it to your paired partner.
- Send push notifications for new daily questions or when your partner answers (only if you opt in).
- Process and manage subscriptions, restore purchases, prevent payment fraud.
- Improve the app and website — fix bugs, ship new features, understand which prompts resonate.
